Customer Reviews about Washington State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My little American Eskimo had been exhibiting neurological symptoms for several months. After seeing several local vets with diagnosis ranging from dementia to Cushings, I finally resorted to having an MRI done which revealed a tumor in her pituitary gland. I was told that WSU is the only place in the whole NW (or greater) than can perform radiation therapy on this type of tumor. It was discouraging to hear that the process would take nearly 4 weeks, but thanks to insurance, I was not about to leave any stone unturned, so headed over from Seattle. The staff from Dr. Fidel, her technicians (Betsy, Kasey) all the way down to the front desk group all treated me and my dog with great care. While the results were not instantaneous, Dr. Fidel kept telling me to give it at least 3 months post treatment. Sure enough, after a few weeks little signs of normalcy started to come to light. And after a couple of months, I'm so thrilled to say my little girl is back to her bright-eyed self! I am so very grateful to the staff and their expertise for giving my dog her life back.October 01, 2017by Mary Bradford
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪This animal hospital could care less about animals well being, all they care about is their money. My lab broke her growth plate, they told me one amount, that we really struggled to pay then called and said that it wasn't all processed and we owed an additional $723. So when I called to see if they could work with me all I was faced with was rude and arrogant office people; they had me apply for help but denied it. You would think when they are using your animal as a learning tool you wouldn't have to struggle to live to keep your animal alive. I've now paid over 3000 for this break. Hopefully never have to go here again!August 02, 2017by Jenna Mitchell
